I don't know about you, but I come from a long line of worry warts. I think it goes back to my great-great-great-great-grandmother. My mother, sister, and I (the two of them more so than me) tend to over-dramatize things and find ourselves constantly worrying. When you sit down and think about it, worrying does absolutely nothing but only makes your situation feel worse. Instead when we find ourselves worrying we should turn to God and put our fears and concerns in his hands. I know I know...much easier said than done, but I truly believe that if we turn to God in times of trouble instead of over-reacting, we can find the good out of any situation. I need to remind myself this everyday and remember to "take one moment at a time" because at this very moment I am OK!
“So don’t be anxious about tomorrow. God will take care of your tomorrow too. Live one day at a time” (Matthew 6:34 LB).

The "F" Word
In our household the "F" word is different than what you think it might be. Unfortunately it doesn't mean "oh fudge." The "F"=FAT. Its a word that I am not supposed to use or even have in my vocabulary...so why is it my biggest fear?
Its really odd about all of the definitions that Webster gives for the word fat that no one even thinks about associating the word with. For example:
- full in tone and quality
- richly rewarding and profitable
I am feeling blue tonight because this one word or phobia has created such havoc in my life and family. It has caused heartache and hurt many feelings. Hopefully with each day this phobia will dissipate...
As for now I am just going to tell Ed to go "fudge" himself!

Words to Live By
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change, the courage to change the things I can , and the wisdom to know the difference.

A new day= new goals
After a rough couple of days...its a new day and every moment has the possibility of being a fresh start. No use in dwelling on our mistakes and past, but look to the future for hope and encouragement.
Just a few goals on my agenda to incorparate into my daily routine:
Just a few goals on my agenda to incorparate into my daily routine:
- Focus on the positives less on the negatives
- Get pumped about graduate school starting next week...did I mention that I am getting my Masters in Teaching elementary education. No worries friends...only Lilly jumpers are acceptable.
- Plan menu and actually write in food journal (its a really cute planner!)
- Reach out and scream when bad urges arise!!!!!
Thats about all for now...
Until later....
XOXO
