First Day of School!

I've been waiting for this day for a year and a half now...today my journey of student teaching begins! Nerves, jitters, and excitement are encompassing me today. I am stepping back in the past as I return to my ole stomping grounds...Pine Street School. I'll be in third grade for the next 60 days where I hope to prepare myself to begin teaching my own class in the Fall...I can't wait to share this new journey with you all and hopeful the wisdom and knowledge that come from this last step of in my Masters program.

Words can not describe how OBSESSED I am with this abstract painting in the home of Jaime Meare's whose home is featured in the new fabulous online mag HIGH GLOSS.

So I have no idea who the artist is behind this masterpiece (please let me know if you do!), but Sissy's painting needs to create its own whimsical version!

I was lucky enough to have my best buddy attend my Birthday party this past weekend and she might have given me one of my favorites gifts! Have you read it...

Its Julie Andrew's Children's book with a red-headed heroine named Geraldine who lives each day as if she is a fairy princess. I just can't wait to share this gem with my new found friends at school.

Sometimes we all feel like we have royal status, right?

Gonna Party Like its MY Birthday

Thats right...today I am a year older...26 years!

I had a wonderful weekend filled with great family, friends, fellowship and the best SUGAR cupcake!

(not to mention the festive decor and to top it off a birthday tiara)

Thanks to my family for spoiling me!

Celebrate Good Times!

The fam and I are off for the weekend to do some big time celebrating. In my family birthdays don't just come and go on one day, luckily they last a week!
